A Fall Day at Walden Pond - Part 3

I've been in a funk for a while but there is no time or place for a funk when at Walden Pond. There is something, for me, that is magical about this place - a peaceful oasis that tranquilizes me.

Your photos are so good. I want to go there. Maybe it's Thoreau's and Emerson's influences that made you feel better. You know, to go there "to live deliberately and confront only the essential parts of nature" like apples and leaves. I'm sure that's what HDT had in mind.

Joy - The site where Thoreau's cabin is marked off and I always spend some time in there. He is definitely still there.

Brookem - It's so wonderful there.
