R.I.P. Randy "Macho Man" Savage

Randy "Macho Man" Savage was a larger than life figure from the mid-1980's through the mid-1990's. His colorful ring attire, wrestling attitude and style, and for me, his dynamic skills on the "stick" (that's microphone) made him one of the most entertaining athletic performers in the history of professional wrestling.

I'm not ashamed to say how big a fan of wrestling I was and in fact, on rare occasions, I'll still take a peek at the shows to see what's going on. Unfortunately, alot of the show has really gone down hill. In the old days, the storytelling was much better and the performers were more solid not only in their athletic ability, but in their storytelling and acting the part they were playing.

Randy Savage was a rare breed who whether he was playing the fan favorite or the "heel", there was still an incredible allure about him and you couldn't help but be captivated with his performance and even applaud it, even if he was the "bad" guy. Rest in peace "Macho Man" - OOOHHHH YEEEEEEEAH!!!
