Not too long ago, I made the decision to grow back facial hair after about a two year absence. The decision was influenced this time by my girlfriend, who asked if I would grow it back - I was happy to oblige.
I used to grow it around every year or so but had slowed down in more recent times due to the heavy graying.
What I've learned though, is that the graying isn't a problem, it's what I chose to perceive the graying stood for...aging, and aging alone.
The reaction, for the most part, has bee positive - many have indicated that I look "distinguished". A old friend mentioned that I look better now than I did 20 years ago.
