Frank Tanzi, a resident of Scottsdale, passed away on April 18th, 2015 at the age of 81. Frank was born in Mola di Bari, Italy on January 16th, 1934. He was born into a large family of 6 brothers and 5 sisters. Frank worked on cargo ships as an electrician and traveled around the world.
In 1964, Frank, his wife and their son, immigrated to Canada. After the birth of his daughter, Frank and his family immigrated to the US and lived in Chicago, Illinois. He worked in construction for 11 years. Frank wanted to live in a warmer climate, so he and his family moved to Scottsdale, Arizona. He worked at Scottsdale Memorial Healthcare as the groundskeeper for 15 years. In his spare time, he soaked up the sun and tended to his garden and fruit trees all year round.
